2) How do you use EQMS at Sodexo?

 
Sodexo uses EQMS in support of the services that we deliver to the highly regulated areas of our Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health and Fast Moving Consumer goods business.  
 
The EQMS application has sufficient functionality for us to deliver global solutions to our global clients, as well as have a flexible architecture so as to allow for local differences.  
 
All of this in an environment which is very challenging, where product quality and patient safety are paramount.
 
 

3) Why did you choose EQMS?

 
As part of a market review of IT QMS applications, Sodexo conducted a thorough analysis of potential suppliers, and selected the EQMS application from QUALSYS for the following reasons:
 
The requirements of our business processes (and the regulatory framework in which we operate) were met by the application.
 
The application is a mature product, with a proven track record for delivering value to operations.
 
The overall solution (architecture, cost, project plan and functionality) aligned with the Sodexo strategy for this objective.
 
 

4) Can you share your experiences of working with Qualsys?

What is instantly recognisable with QUALSYS is they are flexible, accommodating and amenable.  This is important when dealing with a demanding and complex client such as Sodexo, particularly where the application is entirely new, and not replacing a legacy system.  
 
Our experience has been very positive, and QUALSYS are quick to respond to any requests of them.  The team are very strong, with good project management skills, and technical knowledge.  
 
Another key aspect of QUALSYS is their ability to quickly understand the Sodexo business and the challenges that we face.  This enables the building of the system to be managed quicker, with minimal instruction needed from Sodexo.
 
 

5) What benefits do you anticipate EQMS will provide?

 
We anticipate that EQMS will deliver significant benefits to Sodexo, in all of the services that we intend to use the system to support.  
 
We expect a greater level of oversight of our operations, and a greater level of efficiency through harmonisation and sharing of processes.  
 
The system functionality allows us to deliver value to our clients through the automation of activities which allows us to better allocate resources to operational areas.  
 
The architecture then allows us to better harmonise across our ‘like for like’ services and deliver a truly global solution.
 
 

6) What opportunities do you foresee in the future for Sodexo using EQMS?

 
We will be examining how best we can exploit the EQMS system elsewhere within Sodexo, for our other business areas.  
 
The fundamental requirements that we have around governance, control and compliance are equally applicable to our other segments, as they result in quality and value in our services. 
 
 

7) Would you recommend Qualsys? If so, why?

 
QUALSYS’s EQMS product has proven to be an excellent solution to the management of Quality in respect to service delivery.  
 
We would recommend the product because it meets the requirements of Quality Management, and we would recommend QUALSYS because of their focus on their customers.
