The Role:

This is a great opportunity for a Software Tester with plenty of automation experience to create and implement this company's Automation Framework thereby changing the landscape of testing within the business. You will be working in an entrepreneurial environment helping deliver cutting-edge innovative products.

Within this business Testers are involved right from the design stage of development projects ensuring the whole team is quality focussed. We require a passionate Tester who wants to make a real impact in a company by implementing standards, processes and procedures. This company operate in a Test Driven Development environment utilising continuous deployment. Working alongside the rest of the team you will set up the automation environment and train more Junior Testers. This role will largely be self-managing so you will have the ability to make key technical decisions.

We require a Tester who has plenty of automation experience. Experience in JIRA and Confluence would be beneficial. Your testing experience should be on web systems ideally within an API Driven environment. Most importantly we need open minded Testers who are confident enough to voice opposing opinions and consider alternative solutions.

Test Analyst - SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous testing experience including manual and automated testing
  • Experience in web application testing.
  • Good understanding of web applications and how the various tiers interacts.
  • Knowledge of potential web security issues.
  • Good writing skills for documentation process.
  • Basic understanding and familiarity with SQL.
  • Agile team experience - preferable.
  • Rigorous and methodical, with good judgment skills.
  • Willingness to learn, interest in programming and technical side as well as design.
