Realistic O.T.E. £70,000+ p.a. (un-capped)
Base Salary

£30,000 – £35,000 p.a. depending on experience.

Job Purpose: 
Established in 1995, Qualsys is a fast growing Enterprise Quality Management Software (EQMS) company with clients such as Diageo, BT, Sodexo, Financial Times, the NHS and many more.
We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who wants to ‘make your mark’ and move you career to the next level.
Ideally, you will be experienced in B2B / software sales, you be joining a team with a long track record of winning business with global Enterprise customers and will receive full training and support to achieve your goals.
The Role:
  • Deliver software demonstrations via web and in person to sales opportunities which have been qualified by the pre-sales team.
  • Write proposals, quotations and employ various strategies to close the sales.
  • Communicate via telephone, email and in-person with in-bound opportunities and where applicable, via network selling.
  • Keep records and reporting up-to date using Salesforce CRM system.
  • Working with the Marketing and Pre-sales Team to identify potential target groups and organisations, matching targets to ideal customer profiles, initiating and nurturing contact.
  • Support the management of user groups, seminars, webinars and events for prospective customers.
  • Attend industry specific events and exhibitions to network, develop knowledge and partnerships.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills. A comprehensive on-boarding / training programme will be provided as part of your induction and first 6 months. Qualsys use a solution sales methodology, full coaching and support will be provided.
About you: The ideal candidate will:

  • Be target and money motivated, who enjoys ‘collaborative/solution’ selling.
  • Be degree level educated or can demonstrate related experience.
  • Possess telephone sales experience (inbound or outbound) essential.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
  • Have excellent written communication skills.
  • IT literate, is confident with software and technology.
  • Be a confident, self-starter.
  • Have good knowledge of using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Possess a commitment to training and learning – you will be given time to complete role specific qualifications.
Experience or knowledge of the following will be an advantage:
  • GRC / Quality Management / Risk / Security Enterprise software sales experience an advantage.
  • Familiarity with one or more of Salesforce an advantage.
